Character Designs

 

A great story starts from beautiful characters, full of life.  We'll work with you hand-in-hand throughout the entire character creation process.  Some of the steps include:

• Personality: What are the character's good and bad traits?  What is their job or career?  Are they prone to certain emotions more than others?
• Silhouette: What are their defining visual traits and how do they stand out from other characters at a glance?
• Color: What color palette should we use for this character?  Are brighter or darker colors more appropriate for their clothing?
• Art Style: Which anime style should we use for this character or story?

Once we've decided on the general approach, we'll work on a first draft for you.  This may be a simple line drawing, or colored sketches, as you prefer.  After approving the overall art direction, we will fully fill in all the coloring, touch up the art, and complete 2-3 rounds of revision with you until you are happy with the character.
